Update 7/1/15

Wow guys, I really suck. I did not mean for this blog post to come out so late. If you follow me on Instagram then you noticed that I wasn't feeling too hot on Sunday or Tuesday (both days I promised the blog would come out). Well here I am today, freshly showered and mildly okay enough to post. Before I start though, I just want to say...read until the end, I will have a special announcement.

Anime Composers:

Hiroyuki Sawano & Kajiura Yuki

As most of you know by now, music is my favorite thing ever. I love listening to music and when I was in elementary school and high school I loved to play music. Now, I want to discuss to of my favorite anime composers of this moment. Let's get started.

Hiroyuki Sawano

2006 - Soul Link
2006 - Yoake Mae yori Ruriiro na: Crescent LOve
2007 - Kishin Taisen Gigantic Formula
2007 - Zombie-loan

2010 - Sengoku Basara II
2011 - Blue Exorcist
2011 - Sengoku Basara: The Last Party
2011 - Guilty Crown
2012 - Blue Exorcist Movie

2015 - Seraph of the End (Also Provided Opening/Ending Song)
2015 - Attack on Titan Movie Part 2: Wings of Freedom (Also Provided Ending Song)

His work is amazing and I find myself entranced in everything he creates. Although he has only been around since 2006 he creates music to get lost in. I bought the score for Attack on Titan on iTunes and feel like I am in the world of AoT every time I listen to it.

On the other end of the spectrum is the enticing work created by renowned Kajiura Yuki. This beautiful woman has been providing music to popular anime since the late 90's. She is also known to be associated with musical acts such as FictionJunction and Kalafina that she founded with her amazing music.

She certainly has a lot under her belt. I love listening to the Pandora Hearts soundtrack and I cannot wait to get my hands on the Aldnoah.Zero soundtracks (for both Kajiura Yuki AND Hiroyuki Sawano). Now do you see why I did these two together instead of separately? Lol, they are so closely linked it isn't even funny. Plus I absolutely LOVE Kalafina.

So who is your favorite anime composer? Want to see a specific composer listed? Next time: Takanashi Yasuharu.

Special Announcement

If you follow me on Instagram, you probably already saw this, but I am going to hosting a special giveaway. I know for certain one of the prizes will be a special DVD of my AMV's that I make.
