Hey guys! Welcome to another birthday post on Kat's Anime Corner. As the title states I am 25 years old today! Now last year because I had just started working on Korean Break Season 1, I didn't actually get to post a birthday blog but I did get to upload an interview I did with Terri Doty 2 days later. So this is technically the 3rd birthday blog but I am counting it as the 4th. One birthday blog per year of doing KAC. (Yes we are almost half way to our 4th year anniversary) Every year is different. The first year I explained about who I am, the second year I wrote a really long anime review, the third year I did an interview, and this year...well who knows what I'll pull out of my ass. Can you believe I have been busting my ass for this long? I've made so many amazing friends in the time that I've been doing this. Famous friends and non-famous friends alike. Friends who actually accept my weirdness and are okay with it (if you read my Heather Walker and KAC have something in common blog post then you'll know what I am talking about). I've been trying and trying to think of what I want this years blog post to be about and I've finally decided that I am going to go back to my roots and recommend a few of my favorite things. Everything not just Korean and Japanese things but other things that are my favorite and I recommend to you all. Let me know if you either like the same thing or try it out because of me. I love interacting with you all and it makes me happy to know that I can share my love of these things with others.

Does anyone happen to remember what my favorite shows are? I know that no one will know what my favorite American shows are unless you are friends with me then I'll be disappointed if you don't know. But how about my favorite anime or my favorite Korean drama? Don't remember? Let me remind you.

American Television

I actually have two favorite television shows. Neither of them is on the air anymore and I kind of grew up watching them. My first favorite show is Gilmore Girls. I could probably quote the entire show. If you've never heard of this show I do recommend checking it out. It is a cute 7-season series (not including the 4 Netflix mini-movies that just came out) about a young mother Lorelai Gilmore and her daughter Rory Gilmore and their crazy small town lives. It is full of witty humor, loads of pop-culture references, and lots of drama. It ran from October 5th, 2000 until May 15th, 2007 (yes it is a show over 10 years old). I was 8 when the show first came out. I didn't really get into the show until two years later at 11 years of age (I'm guessing because I don't quite remember)
. I watched it from age 11 until well let's be honest I still watch the show on repeat all the damn time. I grew up with the Gilmore Girls and I think that it helped to create a part of me...especially showing me that there is nothing wrong with being a coffee addict (if you know me...I've been known to drink more coffee than I should...).

Source
Now my second favorite American television show is actually from the same channel as Gilmore Girls (The WB which later is known as The CW). I didn't actually get into this show until much later on because of the fact that when it first started I was only 6 when it came out and it is a bit more of a mature show. I actually didn't get into it until after I started watching Gilmore Girls because it was on the same channel and I started to watch the series as it was airing (I didn't actually see the first 3 seasons until much later). I should probably tell you the name of the show....It is the amazing show Charmed. This show follows a family of witches known as the Charmed Ones. Originally it follows Prue, Piper, and Phoebe Halliwell but that was in the first three seasons. Season four through eight follow Piper, Phoebe, and Paige Halliwell. I grew to quickly love this show and grow severely attached to all the characters. Again it is full of witty humor, tons of pop-culture references (no one can forget the episode where Phoebe had her very own Sex In The City episode), and so much drama...as well as magic. Who doesn't love a show with a bit of magic. It actually has inspired me to want to write a story completely dedicated to magic...I just need to figure out how I want to write it. Plus...I have a task if you decide to watch this show...write down all the character's names and tally how many times they die over the course of the eight seasons. You may think I'm joking....Charmed ran from October 7th, 1998 until May 21st, 2006. Fair warning that you need to remember...this show came out in 1998 and only ran until 2006, so it is well over 10 years old...the CGI is not the greatest, so please be kind. But I do recommend you check it out.

Japanese Television

You may be curious why I titled this Japanese Television instead of anime...well, I do actually have a favorite Japanese drama...If you follow me on Facebook at all I'm sure you've seen me talking about i before. RH Plus is a Japanese drama that is about four vampires. It is 13 episodes long and ran from January 2nd, 2008 until March 26th, 2008. I think it is absolutely adorable and kind of very funny. I certainly enjoyed watching it. But it is very cheesy and there is one scene where this girl looks fucking creepy as hell but it is so fucking hilarious. I definitely recommend checking it out. You can watch it on Crunchyroll here: http://www.crunchyroll.com/rh-plus/videos.

Now for the real favorite of all Japanese shows...my favorite anime. If you don't know my favorite anime...well...I'm disappointed. Though you probably knew it before I even said I would say my favorite anime...if you are new here then maybe you don't know. Anyway...my favorite anime of all time is the wonderful Fairy Tail and that is saying something. As my favorite anime used to be D. Gray-Man and before that it was Vampire Knight and before that it was Sailor Moon. I am very intrigued to see if an anime will come along and steal that title from Fairy Tail but I don't see that happening for a while now.

Korean Television

I don't actually watch as many Korean dramas as you'd think I do. I am actually fairly new in the drama world. I only have watched a small number of them. And of those small numbers only a handful can claim the title of favorite. Let's get started because even though I say it is a small amount the number of shows I am talking about are going to be in a larger quantity than those of the Japanese and American that I've already spoken of.

City Hunter (시티헌터)

Source
This 2011 romance, action, thriller drama aired from May 25th, 2011 until July 28th, 2011 (that's the day after my 19th birthday). I didn't watch the series until 2012 when it was on Netflix. I instantly fell in love with the show as well as the lead actor Lee Min-ho. If you saw my tweets from AniMinneapolis you saw that I was gifted a poster of the lovely man. This show is based off a manga of the same name by Tsukasa Hojo. I really recommend checking this drama out. It is really sweet and full of plenty of politically driving action sequences.

The K2 (더케이투)

Source
This 2016 romantic, action drama is very similar to City Hunter in its themes. However it is definitely darker than City Hunter. The drama ran from September 23rd, 2016 until November 12th, 2016 (and I had actually started the show either as it was finishing airing or right after it was finished because I did watch it in 2016). The stars of the show are my love Ji Chang-wook and Girls' Generation's Im Yoona. The romance between these two is really cute and I'm surprised there aren't any fanfictions out there about K2 and Madam because the sexual tension between those two...phew. I was captivated from episode one and I think you will be too.

Cheer Up! aka Sassy Go Go (발칙하게고고)

Source
This 2015 teen romance drama aired from October 5th, 2015 until November 10th, 2015. I wound up watching it around mid to end of 2016. It is starring Lee Woo-keun (who is known for his bromance with co-star N), Cha Hakyeon (my beautiful N Oppa), and Ji Soo (heartthrob of 2016 for sure). Fair warning that this drama seems all happy-go-lucky at first but it takes on some very dark themes related to teenagers and is very emotional. You've been warned. Plus N is in it and he is adorable so please check it out.

Goblin: The Lonely and Great God

Source
This famous 2016 fantasy romance drama took the world by storm from December 2nd, 2016 until January 21st, 2017. I started to watch this drama when it first aired but then at about episode 6 or 8 I had to stop because it was too hard to keep up. I finished it at the beginning of the year with the encouragement from Sunny of KoreaBox. Warning though is that you'll need to have a box of tissues on hand at all time because you will sob like a fucking baby. Now two stars of note that I am in love with are Lee Dongwook and Yook Sungjae (maknae of BTOB). Check it out and let me know what you think.

Roommate (룸메이트)

Source
This 2014 reality series ran for two seasons. The first season ran from May 4th, 2014 until September 14th, 2014. The second season ran from September 21st, 2014 until April 4th, 2015. Notable roommates on the show are: 2NE1's Park Bom, Lee Dongwook, 5urprise's Seo Kangjoon, GOT7's Jackson Wang, Lee Guk-joo (aka Guk-juice per Dongwook ㅋㅋㅋ), and EXO's Park Chanyeol. I laughed, cried, and lived with these members. The most heartbreaking episode for me is the season two Christmas special. JYP surprises Jackson by flying his parents in from China to spend the holidays with him. I still to this day sob like a little baby whenever I see this episode. You will too...I guarantee it.

EXO Next Door (우리옆집에엑소가산다)

Source
This 2015 web series starred members of the popular Hallyu group EXO. The main leads were Park Chanyeol, Do Kyungsoo, Byun Baekhyun, and Oh Sehun. It aired from April 9th, 2015 until May 28th, 2015. The first episode is a bit awkward but the rest of the episodes are really good and extremely funny especially Sehun and Baekhyun. I definitely recommend checking it out especially if you like EXO.

Source
Knowing Brothers aka Knowing Bros aka Ask Us Anything (아늖형님)

Source
This variety show started on December 5th, 2015 and is still on air. The main cast members are: MC Kang Hodong, Comedian Lee Soogeun, Comedian Kim Youngchul, former Basketball Star Seo Janghoon, Singer Lee Sangmin, Buzz's Lead Vocalist Min Kyunghoon, and Universe Star and member of Super Junior Kim Heechul (he's my SuJu bias). Some of the notable guests on the show are I.O.I, TWICE, Henry, Red Velvet, Infinite, Jung Yonghwa (CNBLUE), Zico, and many other actors, singers, and comedians. They even got EXO on the show a couple weeks ago (by a couple weeks...I mean last week...I didn't know when the episode would air when I first wrote this lol...)! Talk about the power of SM. If you like SM at all you'll definitely like this show because there are a lot of SM artists who appear from members of Super Junior to members of SNSD to the amazing SHINee. I die laughing every Saturday night. I love this show so much. Plus this show also produced one of my favorite songs of all time. "Sweet Dreams" by Min Kyung-hoon and Kim Heechul for which the music video features the acting prowess of the Ask Us Anything cast as well as show regular Momo of Twice. I highly recommend it, plus I'm sure you've seen it once or twice on my SNS especially Snapchat and Instagram.

What are some shows you would recommend I check out? I am always excited to know what you all are watching. I just have a bad attention span problem and so I really need something that can captivate me. Let me know what shows you recommend!

Now let's get to the part that I am sure you knew was coming. What are my favorite Korean songs? Well...I'm not going to do that. I'm going to instead give out Korean song recommendations. A lot of these are my favorite songs but I also didn't want to include EVERY single favorite song I have because we'd be here all week instead of just for one day....So anyway, these are the songs I would recommend you check out (note some of these songs have multiple music videos attached because they are in more than one language).

Overdose (엑소 - 중독)

This song released in May 2014 by the SM group EXO was an instant hit. It was also the first song I can remember hearing by the 2012 group. (If you read my VIXX blog post you know that I learned I have been into Korean things since 2012 so I have more than likely heard EXO since before then. I didn't actually hear any of their Chinese stuff until Monster was released and I became obsessed with the Chinese version of that. Which is a shame since one of my favorite members was a member of EXO-M. It's a very creative and addictive song. It is definitely one I would recommend...which is why it is on this list...great going Kat...sound like an idiot....

I am the best (투애니원 - 내가제일잘나가)

One of my favorite girl groups of all-time is 2NE1 (r.i.p.). This song was so famous when it was released that it was even used in american commercials for the Surface Pro. And these girls truly were the best and they ruled the K-Pop scene. I'm still broken that they are no longer together....

Call Me Baby (엑소 - 콜미베이비)

Sexy men. Sexy cars. Need I say more? The first single released after the departure of Kris and Luhan was a hot hit. Unfortunately it was also the last single that featured Tao before he too left SM. It's a very gorgeous song and music video. The music video is almost reminiscent of their top single Growl. The Chinese track is really amazing as well and features a decent amount of switching vocals. Plus I think Chanyeol is more noticeable and featured in the Chinese music video than he is in the Korean...

Hello (뉴이스트 - 여보세유)

This song is actually gaining more popularity four years after it was originally released. Plus the group just released a 2017 version of the song that brings fans to tears as it only features four of the five members on the track. NU'EST as you all know from my LOVE to the World post is one of my favorite groups of all time. So to hear the original version of the song featuring Minhyun and then to listen to the new version without Minhyun breaks my heart and I cannot wait for WANNAONE to finally debut and then end all their promotions so that my boys can be back together again. Dammit...I'm listening to Hello as I am writing this and am getting very teary-eyed...

Dope (방탄소냔단 - 쩔어)

Bangtan Boys...where do I even begin with them? I think the reason why I have them on this list is that they are so easily digested in the American brain that they are a top choice to say "Hey you wanna try out K-Pop, check out BTS". Especially since they have been gaining so much fame over here in the US...But Dope is definitely one of those tracks that is so catchy and fun. When I used to work at Banfield, I would bring in mix CD's that had a whole bunch of Korean songs on them and one of those tracks of Dope. One of the Veterinarians went home one night and looked up the Dope music video just so he could talk to me about it. It's kind of a catchy song.

Crazy (포미닛 - 미쳐)

Yet another favorite girl group who isn't together anymore...4Minute has been a favorite of mine for a while but Crazy might be one of my favorite songs of theirs. It is so catchy and the music video is pretty fucking sweet.

Shake That Brass (엠버 Feat. 태연 (소녀시대))

You cannot go wrong with Amber. Especially in a crazy as music video like Shake that Brass which features not on Taeyeon who sings with Amber but Jackson from GOT7, Joon-hyung from g.o.d., Aron from NU'EST, Min from miss A, and many more. Plus it doesn't hurt that Amber and Taeyeon are both my biases from their respective groups.

Danger (방탄소냔단)

If you remember back a while ago I posted about my top 10 songs from certain groups, well this is my absolute favorite song from BTS. I cannot get tired of it. I'm also practicing my Hangul by writing out the lyrics to this song. If you follow my Facebook page then you've seen me posting about it. There is just something so fucking catchy and addictive about this song. Plus have you heard the remix??? It's even more captivating. Who knew that this song could sound just as badass in a slow version?

Something (동방신기)

No I am not talking about the Girl's Day song even though I do like it, I am talking about the TVXQ song. It is by far one of my favorites. Plus this jazz song is something I think several people could easily get into, plus these two are something very nice to look at...see what I did there? Yeah...I know I'm trying too hard...

Hate (포미닛 - 싫어)

The last single released by 4Minute will always hold a place in my heart. It has an even sadder feel to it knowing that the group disbanded right after it's release. My heart breaks for the loss of these talented girls. Even though it isn't my favorite track from the album (Canvas is my favorite song) it is still an amazing single. It goes from being slow and sad to fast-paced and angry. These ladies were queens.

Fire (방탄소냔단 - 불타오르네)

Duuude there is nothing cooler than watching BTS's performance of Fire at the MMAs. The original music video is already out there and full of fire (Again see what I did there?) but the live performance at the MMAs was literally on fire. Plus if you've ever seen the EXO reacts to BTS Fire at MMAs video...you'll know why it is funnier than shit.

Source

No More Dream (방탄소냔단 - 노모어드림)

Talk about a bad-ass debut song. This debut song by BTS kind of threw their names out there and showed off who BTS wants to be. It also was the start of their reign for speaking out on social images especially when you are going against what society thinks you should be doing. Plus the dancing for it...Jimin's abs...all I'm saying.

Chained Up (빅 - 사슬)

I was not planning on putting VIXX on here because I could have an entire blog post dedicated to every song I recommend you listen to by VIXX and why...but I decided that there were a couple of their songs that kind of break down walls and need to be shared. Chained Up is one of their more notable songs especially when they are covered by groups like TWICE. It is sexy and dark at the same time. Plus it subtly shows off their penchant for concepts as well as shows off their vocal and dancing talents without being too in your face (I'm looking at you Voodoo Doll....) So essentially I'm saying this is one of their more tame videos lol....

If You Do (갓세븐 - 니가하면)

Speaking of favorite songs...This is my absolute favorite song by GOT7. Their vocals, their dancing, their looks, I just can't even with these boys. Plus if you watch these boys perform this song at 2x speed you'll fall even more in love with them. Especially when Jinyoung takes off his shoes because they were too tight for dancing.

Confession Song (갓세븐 - 고백송)

Going to the lighter side of GOT7 from their winter re-release of the MAD album (the same album that has If You Do) comes this soft and sweet song about confessing. The music video is adorable too because the boys take over a school and help some students confess their love. It's all around adorable. But fair warning...don't watch them in the Free Dance Live Video of the song unless you want to lose your shit like Yugyeom...

Source

I will show you (에일리 - 보여졸게)

This queen is all about showing her ex that she can be better without him. I am absolutely obsessed with this song. Plus if you've ever heard Ailee sing...then you'll know it is a fucking awesome song.

Monster (엑소)

Back to EXO is their awesome hit Monster. I am fucking obsessed. Whether it is their Korean or their Chinese version I cannot get enough. Plus...is it just me or does Baekhyun look best with black hair? Their vocals are on point and this is one of the most badass dances ever. Especially their little spin they do while sitting down. Fuck me.

Fantasy (빅스)

Hey hey hey would you look at that! Yet another VIXX song! This is one of their most captivating music videos ever especially paired with the dark vocals. It truly feels like a fantasy. And it is also in my top 3 favorite VIXX songs...

Beautiful Liar (빅스LR)

Technically this isn't VIXX since it is actually VIXX LR. Hey I'm holding to my argument. The debut song by VIXX's first sub-unit took the fans hearts in the palm of their hands very easily. Ravi's rapping has always been praised but the fact that Ravi wrote Beautiful Liar draws you into his charms further. And if you can't hear him vocalizing with Leo then you should go back and listen closely because there are parts where you can hear Ravi singing as backing vocals. And Leo our beautiful main vocal. He has outdone himself especially with the fact that he can hit four fucking octaves. FOUR. In one fucking breath! I just love this song plus the music video they created captures the essence of VIXX's concepts and the darkness and sadness of Ravi's song. (I cannot wait for their comeback! Who else is ready??)

Miracles in December (엑소 - 12월이기적)

If you follow me on SNS then you've seen me tweeting about this song as I totally forgot to mention it being my favorite EXO song ever. It brings me to tears each time I hear it and also the music video...when the 12 members start to cry... holy fucking shit. Plus the combination of EXO's main vocals singing this song (Chen, Baekhyun, DO (K), Luhan (M)) just kills me. Plus if you've seen them perform it live...holy hell. My favorite performance was of the Korean version where Chen, Baekhyun, DO, and Luhan were singing while Lay was playing the piano. Ahhh...now I'm crying.

Fanfare (에스에프나인 - 팡파레)

My newest babies! SF9 is a must especially because I think that they could be very popular, they are very talented especially because they are AMAZING at cover dances. Seriously, look up their performance at KCON this year. They covered EXO and BTS like champs. Plus all the members are very talented.

Bomb (라비)

Okay did you think I wouldn't have a Ravi song on here? Ravi's solo debut song is energetic and I think that people can really get into especially because they'll get a kick out of the fact that Ravi compares himself to Justin Bieber...which I don't see because I like Ravi but I do not like Justin Bieber (though I guarantee I could look on my iTunes and find a JB song....) It helps that Ravi has the talented San E featuring on his debut track. It's an awesome rap track. Definitely worth the check out.

ROAR (에스에프나인 - 부르릉)

Yes I actually mean Roar and do not mean Growl. Roar is the third single by SF9 and it is even more impressive than Fanfare. Their 2017 release record is pretty fucking awesome. I even enjoy their Japanese version of this track. The rapping is unbelievable. I think Youngbin and Zuho outdid themselves this time around with their skill.

Catch Me If You Can (소녀시대 - 캐치미 이프유캔)

I wracked my brain trying to figure out what Girls' Generation song I wanted to feature on this list and settled on their 2015 track. The music is enough to catch your attention plus it shows off many of their talents from singing to dancing. Plus it's a little bit easier for newer audiences to stomach than a song like Gee. Cause even though it is an iconic song...imagine showing someone the music video and let them judge you for being into it...

The Eye (인피니트 - 태풍)

Which Infinite song will work the best to catch someone's attention without scaring them away? Their 2016 hit song The Eye. With L's beautiful acting to the brilliant vocals of Infinite to the amazing dancing from the dance line...This song has it all. Plus Infinite is very good looking. They have a lot going for them.

WOW (비투비)

While it wasn't their debut song, this is my favorite BTOB song. I mean...Minhyuk is very sexy to look at. I just feel that even though their style is a bit questionable (this was 2012), it is easier to stomach than Beep Beep or You're So Fly.

Zero for Conduct (블락비 바스타즈 - 품행제로)

Block B - BASTARZ what can I say. This is an amazing sub-unit. They are full of talent and aren't overshadowed by Zico (I am not ripping on Zico because he is my Block B bias, but when you are first learning about Block B who is the first member you hear about the most?). It's also catchy as fucking hell...though its a very...questionable music video...So save it for those who are into more hip-hop/rap type songs because they can probably handle this music video.

Hard Carry (갓세븐 - 하드캐리)

You didn't think I'd have this list without this song did you? It is one of my favorite GOT7 songs. I'm still trying to figure out what their damn story means. I've had so many theories and I've read so many theories. If you have a theory let me know. I'd love to hear about it! Taylor and I are obsessed with Theories especially those involving the GOT7 and BTS stories.

Firetruck (엔시티127 - 소방차)

This might be the first time I'm ever mentioning NCT on here! LOL. I fell in love with this song but I knew nothing about the group. NCT 127's song is very fucking upbeat and makes you want to move. I didn't learn anything about the members until they were on Weekly Idol and still I only know Taeyong and Johnny. Plus I do know that they have members named WinWin and Mark. That's about it....

MOVIE (비투비)

This is the perfect BTOB song to show off because of all the movie references! Especially Ilhoon's Joker from Suicide Squad. And Sungjae's vocals are nothing to laugh at. And the handsome Minhyuk is....ugh. I can't. He's too much for me. It's definitely worth the watch.

Never Ever (갓세븐)

Again, GOT7 has captivated with this amazing story concept of theirs. I also cannot get enough of Jackson singing "I'm Yours, You're Mine, Woh!" It's too much for my heart to handle. It's got the intensity of Hard Carry but holds a similar touch to the trilogy's first track Fly (which is not on this list sadly).

Goodbye (투애니원 - 안녕)

Going back to the beginning of this list...2NE1's final song released was Goodbye and it breaks Blackjack's hearts anytime it is heard. CL, Dara, and Bom released this track saying Goodbye...for now. It was even more heartbreaking that this song was released without Minzy who had left YG prior to the disbandment of 2NE1. It's such a tragic and sad song that it, even if you don't know the reason why it is so sad, will break your heart. 안녕 2NE1, until we meet again. 2NE1이 우리가다시 만날 때까지.

I Like That (씨스타)

Yet another girl group who has disbanded...I Like That is my favorite SISTAR song. If you listen to all my favorite songs there is a similarity to the style of song that draws me in. Plus the music video is very beautifully put together. And even if you can't dance like the girls you certainly can't help but start to dance as the song goes on.

Good Luck (에이오에이 - 굿럭)

AOA's track Good Luck is a fun and catchy summer track. The music video is full of ad-placements and a Baywatch theme. Plus their vocals and dancing are very captivating. Plus you know I can't resist Jimin. Especially when she is singing about princes and queens. I know it isn't Heart Attack or Miniskirt, but it was one of their more tame music videos for those who aren't accustomed to K-pop girl groups.

Superfly (투포케이 - 날라리)

Okay, honestly, this song is just on here because I am obsessed with it. 24K's vocals are something else and this song is one of my favorites to just jam to. Now I just need to learn more about 24K...I don't even know any of their names...

I'll Be Yours (걸스데이)

While Something isn't on this list, I obviously had to put Girl's Day on here. I'll Be Yours is a fun track with a very interesting music video and a sexy jazz feel to the song.

Don't Recall (카드)

I'm sure you've heard me say that this is my favorite K.A.R.D song, but I'll say it again...this is my absolute favorite song. Plus they are coming to Minneapolis in September and I really want to go see them but I am broke and don't think I'll be able to go unless someone buys me tickets to go. The coolest thing about this song is that they have a hidden version that is entirely in English. I'm so happy that K.A.R.D has finally debuted and cannot wait to see what more they've got in store for us.

Don't Wanna Cry (세븐틴 - 울고 싶지 않아)

This Seventeen track was selected out of the large number of tracks that they've released since debut at the one to be on this list because I am 100% convinced it reminds me of an American pop song... but I cannot figure out what song it is...or it may even be another Korean pop song...I just know it reminds me of something and I think it will draw others in because it is captivating enough to do so. It'll keep them guessing...The only thing I'd change is Woozi's hair color...why the fuck it it so fucking yellow...can't it be more blonde?? *Sigh*

Fantastic (헨리 - 판타스틱)

Breaking off from Super Junior-M Henry became a well known solo artist, especially for his talent with a violin. Fantastic showcases that talent and is one hell of a song. Music is his soul and he lets you know. Plus Henry is really cute to look at. The coolest part of the music video is when you realize he is dancing inside of a violin...

Only You (이쓰에이 - 다른 남자 말고 너)

And no I do not mean VIXX's Only U, I am talking about miss A. Again, I have a very specific type of music that draws me in and this song falls into that category. With it's upbeat jazz feel and the beautiful vocals of the four members. Plus the video is adorable and sexy at the same time...if that is possible.

Blossom Tears (린 & 레오 (빅스) - 꽃잎놀이)

So Lyn, our beautiful vocalist who is well-known for her OST tracks, paired up with VIXX's main vocalist Leo and released a beautiful song called Blossom Tears. Listen to the song at least once before you watch the music video...trust me. It's a cute love song. Now...watch the music video and be prepared to be creeped the fuck out. Leo is a psycho and kills his girlfriend due to some mental instability and he keeps her dead body so he can create a model out of it for his clothes he designed for her. He also keeps parts of her body like her heart and whatnot inside jars....It's fucking creepy and I'm impressed with Leo's acting. Yikes. It changes the feeling of the song though....

Shangri-La (빅스 - 도원경)

Guys, I almost forgot this song! How could I? I'm such a terrible VIXX fan...T.T. I'll be better. I promise! This song is their newest lead single from their 2017 comeback and it is highly deserving of their track that brought in their 5th year as idols. I couldn't be more proud of my boys. Just know I will not be writing the Chinese title...I have a hard enough time with learning Hangul....

And that is it for this list...What a way to end the list right? A great number of my favorite songs and I can guarantee that people will love them because every single one of these songs has gotten people at least interested in checking out k-pop.

Now I would do a list of my favorite Japanese songs, but I don't have access to any of the music videos like I do with the Korean songs. Plus, none of my favorite songs have changed since the last time I did a list....so check that out for those songs. So I think that is it for this blog post. I'm so happy that I've been able to share 4 birthday's with you guys. I can't wait to spend many more with you all. Coming up in the next couple months will be my Fairy Tail review and a few other unplanned anime blogs. Then I think at the end of 2017 I will start up Korean Break Season 3 which I have already planned. Also let me know what you want to see for the KAC 4 year anniversary blog post which is in a little over 4 months. I have like...nothing planned at this point in time. T.T We'll see what we come up with. Maybe I'll have something cool to do.

Well that is all for this time. Thanks for spending my birthday with me.

Until next time!

Ja ne!

xx Kat
