Update 11/9/14

Hey guys. This week is was a busy one and this blog is a full one. Let's get started.

As you know, I love to draw. Sure I may not be very good at it but I love to do it anyway. It's very relaxing and helps me especially when I take to drawing my own characters for stories. Here are a few drawings I have done over the years.

I take a lot of pride in my work and I hope you all have something you enjoy to do as well. That last picture is a perfect segue into our next subject. 

I have created a new segment here on Kat's Anime Corner, but it won't always be a monthly thing, it will be an every so often thing. It's called Voice Actor Spotlight. Where I take a voice actor and I highlight the roles I have seen them in as well as how many roles they have been in and so on. 

Our first Voice Actor is: Monica Rial 

She has been a voice actor since 1999 and has been known under not only Monica Rial but the names Dorothy Garrett and Lisa Blanchard. She has been in over 240+ anime roles since she began in 1999. (Note: these are the shows she is credited for on Wikipedia). Not only is she an amazing and talented voice actor but she is an amazingly sweet person. I actually got the chance to talk to her on the phone once as a birthday present from my best friend. She was at Animinneapolis where Monica Rial and Todd Haberkorn were guests and she asked if they could talk to me. I couldn't make it to the con because I had to work and couldn't take the weekend off. So as a surprise and early birthday present she got them to talk to me on the phone. I was speechless and couldn't breathe but was so freaking happy. Then I got their autographs as the next part of my birthday present. It was a great 21st birthday.

EVOL has more beautiful artwork and is a lot easier to follow story wise while Aquarion has great character development. Both are equally amazing in their own rights. 

Funimation reviews of EVOL say: "EVOL is a good continuation" and "Season 3-4 of Aquarion". I wholeheartedly agree.

Lulubell from D. Gray-Man

Probably one of my favorite Noah, this shape-shifting beauty is the Noah of Lust. She has a deep devotion to the Millennium Earl and takes her job seriously. 

Aside from Tyki and Road, she is the only other Noah to get close enough to Allen on several occasions. She even almost succeeded in kidnapping him. 

She is a simple woman who just wants to please her master. Madam Lulubell is one tough kitty.

Okay, have to admit it. Yhwach is powerful. Insanely so. However his quincy are filling with doubt as their master steals from them. They aren't willing to die. 

Where is Ichigo???

Naruto

All good things come to an end. Unfortunately. This series which spanned 15 years is finally over. Manga-wise. With a movie, the anime, and a spin-off, it'll be a long time before Naruto is gone for good. 

Chapter 699 picked up with Sasuke and Naruto lying bleeding. This is how Sakura and Kakashi find them. Sakura rushes forth to heal her teammates. As she does so, Sasuke looks at her and finally apologizes. Four years of hell he has put her through even almost killing her on several occasions and he finally apologizes. They healed boys then release the Infinte Tsukiyomi and free the people. Sasuke releases the Biju and Kurama shares a moment with Naruto. Flashing forward a few days, they finally have Neji's funeral showing a sad Naruto and Hinata next to one another. Then it shows the Hokage Monument where we see Kakashi's face next to Tsunade's. Now Sasuke is talking to Kakashi and Sakura as he leaves. It is revealed he was pardoned due to Naruto and Kakashi's influence. Sakura then asks if she can come with but Sasuke declines and taps her on the forehead with two fingers saying "I'll see you soon.......thank you..." Based on the blush, I'm assuming he says something between the see you and the thanks. But that is just me. As he leaves he runs into Naruto where Naruto returns Sasuke's Konoha headband with a promise between the two to settle this. 

Chapter 700 is a time skip of approximately 10 years. Aburame-sensei aka Shino is shown as a teacher like Iruka was. A blonde boy gets excited about pranking. We see a young boy who is the spitting image of Naruto minus the orange obsession. Then a girl with black hair and glasses as well as a mini-Shikamarua named Shikadai who announces the blonde boy's name to be Bolt. Chouchou (a girl) and Inojin (a boy) are the two next shown and it is revealed that they are the new InoShikaChou. Then we see Neji's grave and a girl putting sunflowers there. It is Hinata and her whiskered daughter. Next we are greeted with Lee and his disciple. Tenten is a weapon salesperson. Next we see Bolt pouting and the glasses girl following him. Shikadai arrives home and we are greeted with Gaara, Tenmari, and Kankuro. Next is Kiba and his girl with a ton of animals. Poor Akamaru is old and fragile now. Our next group is Ino and her husband Sai with Choji and his wife Karui. Flash to a picture of Asuma and his son then Kurenai asking about his mission. Now we see Gai in a wheelchair and an older Kakashi. Then we are greeted with the past Hokage, Mizukage, Raikage, and Tsugikage. Then we see Bee and Hachibi. Now we see the Hokage building and the Hokage desk with piles of work, a bottle, empty ramen cups, and a laptop. Shikamaru and a girl are talking to our blonde Hokage then in bursts Udon and Moegi saying there is a problem. The Hokage Monument has been defiled by Bolt saying he hates the Hokage and that his dad will come soon. His hand is grabbed before he can do anything with the Shuriken he has grabbed. Naruto has appeared scolding his son. Naruto feels bad for his son's anger at him. Konohamaru gets upset with Bolt and Iruka corrects his anger explaining how Bolt just wants his dad's attention. Naruto explains to Bolt how important the village is and asks if he is a ninja too. When they reach ground level, Konohamaru yells at Bolt but Naruto says Konohamaru did the same with the Sandaime. Now the little girl arrives home to Sakura cleaning and it is revealed the girl's name is Salada. She then says that guys are stupid and Sakura asks if it is Bolt. Salada then says Bolt resembles her when it comes to dads. Now we see Sasuke in a forest walking around. Naruto finally arrives at the Gokage meeting. the new Tsugikage, Raikage, and Mizukage revealed. Naruto's face is shown on the Hokage monument (with a tribute to the popular manga series One Piece) and a sleeping Kurama. 

The end. 

So because Naruto is now over, a new series needs to take its place in my blog. I am happy to announce that I am going to be starting: Fairy Tail. Let me know what you think. Will you read it? Also what series would you like to see when Bleach is finally over.
