BTS has finally released their much anticipated Map of the Soul 7. The Digital Download features 20 songs while the physical album features 19 songs. Let's get right into it! 시작! 

Like I stated, the album has 19 songs (with a bonus track on the digital download). The track list features five songs from Map of the Soul Persona and fourteen (fifteen if you count the bonus track) new songs. Let's break it down for you!

This entire album feels like BTS is reminding us that they haven't forgotten their roots but they want to show us their growth as artists. I get a lot of vibes from different songs (UGH, ON, Louder than bombs) that are reminiscent of their older songs but showcase their musical growth. Then you have songs like (Black Swan, Friends, Moon) that show off a new side (their true growth). It feels like we've been shown their seven souls. Especially because we've been given 7 new solo ventures as well as a few subunits.

It truly is like listening to seven different stories that interlock into one whole story and then with the addition of the group ventures and their inclusion of ARMY in everything an entire world is weaved throughout this album. It is a map of the soul.

So what would I say is my favorite song off this album? I have to choose one? There are so many good songs. Obviously if you have read my past reviews, you know that I love the Rap Line and I always will so OBVIOUSLY I have been fed well this album. But I cannot say that I love all the songs on this album. ON as a title track is amazing. They brought a lot of fan favorites back from Persona. Shadow, Filter, Louder than bombs, ON, UGH!, Friends, and Respect are favorites of mine. However, my favorite song might actually be We are Bulletproof: the Eternal.

Shocking I know. My favorite songs makes me want to cry. It is obvious that this is BTS talking to ARMy. That they are bulletproof forever because they have ARMY. They are saying they are no longer seven because BTS and ARMY are together as one. At least...that is what I interpreted from this song. It is a beautiful track and I love to listen to it.
