Update 7/6/14

Hey guys! It is finally a new month which means new things are coming soon to Kat's Anime Corner. I have a Facebook page exclusively for this blog. http://www.facebook.com/katsanimecorner You should check it out and you can get an inside look into the behind the scenes of Kat's Anime Corner. I just posted the other day about the meaning behind my blog's name as well as posted an inside look into this blog. Plus I will give exclusive looks at what is being planned for the blog and some thoughts. It is also a great place to discuss the anime world. So stop by, I'm always up for a good chat.

Now on to this update.

June. Man what a busy month. If you are like me then school finals were in June, so there wasn't a ton of free time. However June has been my catch up month! I am trying to keep up on all the things in my life so I don't become overwhelmed.

#10 Dragonar Academy - "Seiken Nante Iranai" by Yui Sakakibara

With it now being July, that means a new season of anime is starting up. From the 1st until probably the end of July new anime will be starting up. Unfortunately there isn’t a lot of information for me to go on as of yet, but I will let you know what I am watching and where I am watching it at a later date. For now, here are the anime I could find that will be premiering this Summer 2014 season.

Akame ga Kill
Ao Haru Ride
Bakumatsu Rock
Barakamon (Love the manga for this one)
DRAMAtical Murder (Super excited about this! Aoba!)

Shounen Hollywood – Holly Stage for49 –

Tokyo ESP
Tokyo Ghoul (The PV for this freaked me out a bit)
Zankyou no Terror

You are probably looking at this list and thinking that it is a lot shorter than the one that I had for the Spring 2014…well it is. The reason? A lot of Spring 2014 shows are resuming during the Summer season. Now a warning for Naruto Shippuden fans. The show is taking a break on the 17th of July and will return the following Thursday, July 24thSo what show are you looking forward to the most for the Summer Season? I cannot wait for DRAMAtical Murder, Love Stage!!, and Sword Art Online 2. I have been waiting a long time for these shows. I can’t believe it is already time. Like I said, I will let you all know what I am watching at a later date. For now, find me on Twitter or Facebook and let me know what you will be watching. Maybe we will watch the same shows and can talk about it.

Speaking of awesome anime. I just finished watching Nura: Rise of the Yokai Clan (I had watched the first season a long time ago but never finished the show) and I fell in love. I own part 1 of Demon Capital on DVD (wish I own season 1 and part 2 on DVD) so I got to watch it commercial free for 13 episodes. I will totally be doing an anime review on this at some point (I hope I can start and finish the manga before this review). What are your thoughts on this show? Like it? Hate it? Let me know. I will put it into consideration when writing!

Guys, it's that time again! Each week on Instagram I post a teaser pic of a character. This week I chose:

Yep, Shiro Nai and Sora Nai from No Game No Life.

Shiro is 11 years old and Sora is 18 years old. Both are NEET and huge gamers.

These two are crazy smart, nearly genius level, separately and together there is no stopping them. Unless you take them outside in Tokyo or separate them, then they are useless.

Shiro is amazing at chess and it is the reason they are in Tet's world. Sora is great at strategy (Shiro is good too don't get me wrong!).

Unlike Shiro, Sora is a pervert and obsessed with losing his virginity. (Though I think any girl he has met so far would be willing to help him with that >.<)

Sora and Shiro are King and Queen of Imanity and they plan on conquering the world so they can face off against Tet in a final chess match.

What is your favorite character? Would you rather see someone else? Let me know and maybe your character will appear here.

So this week I never actually wrote up my reviews for the new Naruto and Bleach chapters but here is what I was thinking:

Yep, they were actually really good but I just can't find the words to put in this blog. Maybe next week I will have a better idea of what to say. Till then...

See you next week!

Ja ne!

xx Kat
