Update 4/22/15

So obviously today is not Sunday. Nor is it Monday. Nor is it Tuesday...(I was gonna post this yesterday but I guess I only hit save and not publish...Oops). So say hello to a Wednesday update! As a bonus I will give you an extra list next week along with the regular update. So... Yep I was a bit busy this weekend. Like very busy. Working two part-time jobs to save up money because I am a broke college graduate is not fun. It also sucks when you have people in your life who are not supportive about things like this blog. I just have no idea what I am going to do to convince people that I am happy doing this. Whatever. So I did have the blog ready, just didn't have it ready to upload. Let's get started!

Note: As I am editing this I am rocking out to Simple Plan who is one of my top favorite bands...I had several posters of them in my bedroom when I was in elementary and middle school. I was in love with Pierre. That gorgeous man. ;)

Top 10: Winter Anime 2015

So I have done this since I started watching anime, but I never really explained what goes into deciding. For me, I create these lists with a few things in mind. 1) does the show have a good story line, 2) does the show have good music, and 3) does the show draw me in? If you haven't figured it out by now, I hate being bored. I want to be sucked into these worlds and feel like I am in the story. That is why these criteria must be met for my shows. And I think that this list is a great representation of just that.

10. Naruto Shippuden

9. Tokyo Ghoul Root A

8. The Testament of Sister New Devil

7. Absolute Duo

6. Isuca

5. Sailor Moon Crystal

4. Fairy Tail

3. World Break: Aria of Curse for a Holy Swordsman

2. Aldnoah.Zero

1. Kuroko no Basuke

It came was a shock to me how much I detested the new filler arc for Naruto which dropped the series to the very bottom. If I had actually been interested in Unlimited Fafnir, then Naruto Shippuden wouldn't have even made the cut. Now the middle section (6 to 9) was kind of tough to decide because I liked them all equally. The top five are pretty self explanatory. No surprise on any of them. Though it is kind of strange to see Fairy Tail in the number 4 spot. The pre-tartaros arc is not too big of filler like the Naruto arc because a lot of these stories are straight from the manga (like Asuka's story) so I tolerated it plus that OP was amaze balls. The reason World Break beat it though was purely my 100% investment into making sure I watched the episodes. I loved the world we got to see in World Break. Yeah it's similar to almost every world we've seen before, but I couldn't help myself. Now do I really need to explain 1 and 2? Didn't think so. Just look at the past lists they have been on and you should get the interest. Just a side note about number 9...if you watched Tokyo Ghoul Root A all the way through and saw the last episode...you'll understand why I wish they would have played that song and then I could have given it a higher rating...But that's enough about that without spoiling.  You should check it out yourself.

What shows were you watching in the Winter 2015 season? What would be your top 10 list? Let me know.
